Having learned the joy of motocycle off-road with my daily driver tje Yamaha XT 250...I quickly find I need more...power and adrenaline-jumps.

However living in cosy Denmark where every squaremeter is accounted for....the only places to do serios dirt-biking is in a dedicated motor-cross circuit, and if I use my XT250 there for sure I will smash it up.

So in winter 1989 I purchase a bit's and pieces Husquarna 500C crossbike which I bring home in two cardboard boxes + frame ....a failed rebuild project by a friend of mine.

Buying any vehicle in "cardboard-box" is risky business....but I am lucky : within a couple of months I have the bike fully rebuild and running huge grin in the picture proves it !

I load to Husky into my van and got for the nearest motocross circuit....wife and kids come along just in case I need tendering later on.

After doing just 4 laps I am left trembling like a jellyfish, exhausted, happy, I've found a new passion : going wild and crazy in a motrocross circuit....but the session is cut short : when hot the bike refuses to matter  what.

So we call it a day and roll back home.....sadly no more motocross events will take place with that bike : some months later my then wife says goodbye having decided to do a 2 years solo-run and enjoy the life of a single woman whilst I'm to stay at home and carry on with out two kids until she comes back.....if.....I then consider myself released to take decisions on my own life :

I sell off the bike and move to sunny Spain....where first thing is buying a brand new GIILERA RC600 tuff off-roader and head for the miles and miles of great dirt-road biking available in the Pyrenees.
